Leanne Gruppuso

Leanne Gruppuso completed her Juris Doctorate from Western University, Faculty of Law in 2022. While attending law school, she participated in moots including the Torys LLP Negotiation Competition and the Harrison Pensa LLP Contract Drafting Competition, and was Orientation Week Coordinator. Leanne was also a research student on a project with the Canada-United States Law Institute, where she helped with the preliminary drafting of a navigation treaty for the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway. 

Before law school, she attended the University of Toronto, St. Michael’s College where she majored in Political Science and Criminology and graduated with distinction. During her undergraduate degree, Leanne was involved in the St. Michael’s College Mentorship Program, where she helped organize and oversee events that connected students with upper-year and alumni mentors. 

Outside of work, Leanne enjoys reading novels, going to concerts, and is an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
