
Alyssa Shi is an articling student at De Bousquet PC. Prior to law school, she completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, specializing in neuroscience. Alyssa went on to earn her JD from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law.
Throughout her studies, Alyssa developed and refined her legal skills through a range of professional and extracurricular experiences. She spent three months at Dentons Beijing, working on IPO files for corporate clients. She also served as a Startup Legal Strategist at DMZ, a startup incubator, where she supported early-stage companies with legal matters related to operations and fundraising. During a work term at the Office of the Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice, she provided judicial assistance through legal research and memorandum drafting. Additionally, Alyssa was involved in pro bono work through her school’s Refugee Law Legal Clinic and showcased her advocacy skills as an oralist in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot.
Outside of her legal pursuits, Alyssa enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, and watching sitcoms and anime.
