Mathusa Ranjanakumar is a trainee lawyer currently completing her legal training through the Versailles Bar School (HEDAC). She holds both a Master’s degree and an LL.M. in International and European Business Litigation, with academic work focused on dispute resolution, private international law, and complex business and financial litigation.
She is currently completing a training placement at De Bousquet Professional Corporation in Toronto, where she is gaining practical experience in employment law and civil litigation within the Ontario legal system. This role allows her to strengthen her legal research, drafting, and analytical skills while developing a deeper understanding of litigation strategy in a common law jurisdiction.
Mathusa previously completed another placement at the Paris office of A&O Shearman within the Litigation & Investigation department, where she worked on complex, high‑stakes disputes in an international environment.
She will complete her training at De Bousquet PC before being called to the Paris Bar at the end of the year. Beyond her legal interests, Mathusa enjoys cinema and literature, and is using her time in Ontario to discover the province’s cultural richness and its many unique places.
