Sofia Casciato is a JD candidate at the University of Ottawa in the English Common Law program. She will start her third year in the fall.
In law school, she serves as a Writing Leader for uOttawa’s faculty of law, where she assists students one-on-one with their legal writing. She was also a member of the Norton Rose Fulbright Entrepreneurship and Innovation Legal Clinic, where she developed hands-on experience interacting with clients. Both experiences further developed her interest in client-facing work.
Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, graduating with High Distinction.
She is deeply interested in litigation and excited to apply the skills she learned in her Trial Advocacy and Appellate Advocacy courses.
In her free time, she enjoys weight lifting, cooking, and travelling. She is also an avid restaurant-goer and enjoys visiting new restaurants in the city.
